RIP 2023

@Tim Never really cared for him either but I think he was popular because his songs were easy to sing along with. As my friend said, His songs create an island escapism that allow you to feel like you are somewhere else. They are usually happy songs and paint a great picture.

Anytime the lead singer of a 90s rock band dies there’s a damn good chance I’ll spend the day listening to them in their glory days as a bit of a tribute and rocking out…..Chris Cornell and Scott Weiland stand out as recent examples…..
I can’t see myself having a day of listening to Smash Mouth though.
Still, he would have made a truckload of money from singing the Shrek theme tune I guess.
Anyway, RIP
