Anytime the lead singer of a 90s rock band dies there’s a damn good chance I’ll spend the day listening to them in their glory days as a bit of a tribute and rocking out…..Chris Cornell and Scott Weiland stand out as recent examples…..

I can’t see myself having a day of listening to Smash Mouth though.

Still, he would have made a truckload of money from singing the Shrek theme tune I guess.

Anyway, RIP

Seems he died a week or so ago but only just announced.

My Dad in particular liked him.

Amazing voice. So smooth and effortless.

No cause of death, but 87 ...

Sad news, but I sort of thought he’d died years back.

That name is a blast from the past. Like others, my Mum & Dad were fans of Roger Whittaker. Enough that I can recall at least two of the songs mentioned very well, even if it's possibly the 80's since I last heard them.
