Just wondering, at test level and teams wasting time , players with 'injuries' etc, would the game be served by having a time limit on injury breaks. If a player needs longer than 30 seconds to be attended to he does it on sideline, and if it amore serious and he can't move or be moved in that time, stop clock and he HAS to be replaced for game. I have heard suggestions of stopping clock , but that could have games going for too long, as well as still allowing teams to piss around to get back breath.

Rugby could learn from football. Anyone who needs treatment has to go to the sideline and can't return until the next stoppage

@taniwharugby He knows rugby about as much as Christy Doran. Perhaps kick Italy out when Ireland can put 96 points on them...

            Get. Fucked

            I'm watching France v Italy

The italian try has just been rubbed out by the TMO because someone got cleaned out in the chest, a fact all 4 officials agreed. The cleaned player dived forward in to the contact.

But what really fucks me off is an at least 4 breakdowns in the passage of play all 4 officials allowed French players to pile in the side, collapse rucks and upset ball with no sanction. But hitting someone in the chest gets you rewarded.

            Fuck off

And no no one looks at the first Irish try which is the very definition of obstruction. The Irish player runs behind a lead runner. Said.lead runner bowls over the Scottish hooker, and the Irish runner runs through the hole that creates. Absolutely no review. At all.

              What even is this sport?

Yeah that was a shocker. How the TMO missed it is beyond me.

Because I think that there is an unconscious bias in refereeing

If the fancied team does something good, it's because they are so good at rugby

If the unfancied team did something good, it's because they did something nefarious

I see too many examples of it happening to not be at least a little true

And I say that as a supporter of a team who gets those calls often

@mariner4life the 2 Irish itv pundits BOD and Best both couldn’t believe it wasn’t looked at.

When the TMO outright lied on the touch call, incompetence went out the window & there was genuine reason to believe in a fix.

@gt12 sad as it may be, we need to highlight these, wave oirnarms, fall over and exaggerate these illegal contacts, then they will be looked at closer, if they are pulled up or not...

The reffing issue isn't just on here. It's invariably the topic of conversation when discussing the RWC with people. I've always been wary of any reffing conspiracy theories, but I'm not so sure now...it's damaging the game.

As @gt12 has said, I think it's time it was called out. Hopefully behind closed doors, but if not, then someone will need to go public.

the inconsistency and lottery week to week does my head. Played well, the best sport in the world, but there's a reason I've fallen out of love with professional rugby. It's on display tonight. Was on display with Ireland series last year.

I am afraid I don’t love it any more.

I’ll be back for the 6 Nations and the Super season, but I have nothing like the enthusiasm for the sport that I once did. I suspect many others feel the same.
