<p>Funny to think that a few months back the Fern was wondering whether he was just left out of Super rugby or he was injured and now he's a step away from an AB debut.</p>

<p>That's an awesome yarn. It's the kind of story you'd read about how players made the All Blacks in the 80s. Doubt you'll find another player take a similar path to Test rugby in the professional era for a long, long time.</p> -
