Put 40 in the book next week. Semis are usually tense but this will be over real quick.

Not so sure. I think it will be a flat performance because emotionally and physically they'll have expended an enormous amount tonight.

It's a good draw for us, but we have to take advantage.

I think it's a good draw for both sides. Fiji and England aren't going to trouble the Boks or France.

    Scoreboard pressure means something aye!

The fact they needed a try and Jordie had nailed that penalty to get it out to 4 points meant they couldn’t set up for a droppie.

We can’t underestimate how important Aaron Smith was at the end of the game. You can hear him just barking to our boys to get up and realign after each ruck. He would’ve had a point to prove after the YC. Thanks Nuggie, you are an AB legend.

Did the Irish bottle it a bit when they needed that try ,

Their elaborate attack we normally see with the ball being moved around and runners going everywhere all of a sudden became conservative and made it easier for us to defend .

Maybe we just analysed their attack and knew where they were running.

Their powder was not dry enough.

Great moment from big Sam Whitelock in his 150th game getting that turn over in the last seconds.

Cane and Jordie more deserving IMO

I really don't think any of them give a fuck, TBH. Least of all Cane.

Bollocks. Ardie was massive. The motor on the man is unbelievable. Cane steeped up but Ardie does this shit every time he plays.

Eh? I was making the point that neither Cane or Ardie would be worried too much about who got MoM.

So weird to end up with a good draw as an AB fan. We really need to take advantage of it.

Yes, the great challenge for us will be getting up for a semi against the Argies after we emptied the tank for this one.

We were in a similar position in 2019 and got blown away.

The Argies will look to spoil everything next week and will be very dissapointEd with themselves if an actual game of rugby breaks out.

They will be very tough and I think that will be close.

Was at 2015 WC final this game is on another level

    Best game since 2000 Bledisloe?

There can’t be many better performances by a losing side than that by Ireland.

They were brilliant. Maybe because my old man was Irish but I do feel sooty for them. They are a fantastic team with a world class coach. Would not have been sorry to C them go all the way. The draw sucked. These shpould have been the semi's

I'm definitely more happy about us facing the argies than more than likely England

Was hilarious watching him look confused everytime he was rightly penalised.

“If you are held down by the weight of the past, you won’t be able to do anything.” You would be forgiven for assuming that this statement was made by an Ireland player, given our terrible record at the Rugby World Cup.

Just checking in. Still wearing my jersey, presentation tracksuit, socks, shoes at hat. Has Sexcunt stopped mouthing off yet?
I'm still pumped. Voice is shot. Drank 6 bottles of out of date Speights and the only thing that would make this night better would be to see more pictures of Sexcunt and O'Whiny cracking the shits.
Still can't help but feel Barnes was BSing those calls at the end.

Some real positives to take out are their second try came with a man down and I still believe that penalty try was total BS. Scrambling D was phenomenal. In the last 5, Barnes just wouldn't penalise the Mics until there was just no more excuses not to.

    FUCK YESSSSSSSS!!!!!!

@gt12 tomorrow afternoon have a brief meeting with Matera’s ‘this is my country’ clip on the big screen. Job done. Argentina - like Ireland - have got their attention now.

Yeah, I was disappointed by that as I wanted to revel in Ireland losing some more. 🙂

So the key for this week is a bigger rest time? I'd be tempted to give them an extra day or two.

Sam canes best game ever. He gets a lot of shit thrown his way both from kiwis but also other teams supporters but he was superb. Such dominant tackling.

No. Physically, we are in pretty good shaped compared to other sides I think.

I meant more mentally - this game against Ireland would have seen us spend a lot of emotional energy beating Ireland and also leading up to the game. We wanted it. They embarrassed us last year.

It’s like 2019. We were outstanding in the qtr final and nowhere in the semi final.
