@MN5 Bautista is good in supporting roles, but as the lead, not so much.
I did watch this movie, and quite enjoyed it despite the low rating.
Probably fair.
I can’t believe the Academy missed this one….

Mission Impossible, Dead Reckoning
Say what you want about Tom, but he knows how to do action films. Sure plenty of bs, but all done well and not as OTT as some and obviously he does his own stunts to make it all the more impressive.
Only criticism is almost 3 hours, but it passes pretty quick
4 falling grand pianos out of 5 car chases

This review of Argento's Suspiria did make me laugh:
Seen this many times but this is the first time I noticed a visible McDonald's in an early shot of Jessica Harper trying to get a cab at the airport, and then I had a chuckle thinking about the witches popping out for Maccas every once in a while.

So, i can't tell, is the Napoleon movie going to be any good?

I reckon it'll be great, same as gladiator, as long as you're happy with the myth of Napoleon, rather than more hard reality. It's hype Napoleon, something he was quite good at doing. For ex, 1st trailer, Napoleon never led a charge on horseback - hard to do that with artillery!

It's Ridley Scott so good chance it will be awesome, or it might be one of his misfires. I'm hoping for the former even though I'm not a huge fan of Phoenix's style of method over acting.
Anyway, saw Killers of the Flower Moon yesterday which should be a slam dunk as it's Scorcese. But, I'm going to have to say it, I think Marty has lost his touch.
It's a very disjointed film. The performances are all fine (good to see both his De/Di actors in the one film), it looks good although not $200m good (I'm unsure where the money went, period pieces aren't that expensive), but it's weirdly hard to follow and many characters are not fleshed out, and it's a 3 1/2 hour movie that feels both too long and too short at the same time.
Marty might need to stop hating on comic book films as it's clearly impacting his filmmaking ability. Although, I must say I think his last 3 have been sub par for him (Silence was a bore, The Irishman was just meh).

Cocaine Bear
It’s bloody hard work sitting with a 13 and 15 year old and finding something we all want to watch but we nailed it first time with this !
Leave your brain and any semblance of logic at the door ( although apparently this is based on a true story ? ) and strap yourselves in for a ridiculous, gory, funny ride. Without giving anything away it’s literally about a Bear. On Cocaine.
The true part of it is that they did find a drug plane that went down, that was very empty of cocaine and a very dead bear lying close by (same bear is an attraction in a mall nowadays).
So there was a plane, a bear and cocaine but the rest is all made up
obviously...

do you fern from under a rock ????
As Brooklyn 99 might say, that sounds like the title of your sex tape.
But yeah, John Cena, has been in movies with Idris Elba and Tina Fey, running the gamut of dramaturgy from smackdown to ah comic smackdown.
