All a bit overblown this innit? Both Rieko/Brodie comments and the Sexton reaction. Reeks of having not much else to talk about for a few days.

As long as they shared a beer or 12 together in the sheds afterwards, nothing to see here

It’s funny what people latch themselves too after a match.

I’ve never had an issue with Sexton or really cared about his antics so for me it’s really nothing to see. I’ve poked fun at some of the “best 1st 5 ever” talk but that’s no coming from him rather an enthusiastic commentariat.

I see one or two Irish pundits are still getting upset with Reiko cupping his ear. Good thing most of them weren’t around when Merts was playing:

My view is rugby has become a bit too nice and PC. So well done to Rieko. We need more of this. It might seem a bit low but f++k it. It will help bring the crowds in for the next match between NZ and Ireland.

And I'm not meaning physically dirty play on the field. Keep stamping this out including anything related to the noggin

            totally.

Check out the vide from above - it shows how minor this was, and how the good stuff going on aroudn it isn't talked about the same way. Lot of respect for the two teams

There's still an element of the media which looks for any reason to accuse the ABs of being cheats, dickheads or whatever.

Is that a “fight” these days. Wow.

Both have been proven to be dicks though to be fair.

a funny half glass full kind of thing that: look at the amount of time for possession OR keeping them out without a penalty letting the clock tick on..

Wouldn't mind if he shared what they were. My memory is limited to Jordan's try Whitelock's steal.

Could just mean they were the less disciplined side etc - doesn't have to mean they were unfairly treated.

Found this aerial view of the final sequence. It’s quite good in showing the defensive alignment of the ABs.

Also credit to Ireland as they did very their attack throughout - short balls, long cut outs, wrap arounds - angled runs etc.

@ACT-Crusader the communication, confidence, trust and tenacity shown there has become very rare in the past 6 years. Amazing to watch that and see them just all lined up every time, getting off the ground and not panicking.

What was the difference between Ardie and Sam winning the turnover? Other than the ref calling it?

I don’t begrudge them their success but they had got very cocky very quickly and incident like PoM made it worse.

Imagine the crowing if they won.

I had the utmost confidence we will beat them that day and knew we would come at the with something they had met seen from us in a long time.
