@Bones No never, Cantab posters are the most unbiased posters on here.....
@African-Monkey we are indeed. It’s just too easy to wind you guys up. 7 titles in a row. What more can we say.

Has anyone seen the dates and venues for the England series

In typical NZR fashion we hear about them from the opposition first and dates/locations probably won't be out until next year

@chchfanatic Mate, it's an ABs thread, not a Crusaders wankathon thread haha.
Look forward, not back

13s: who is most likely competing with Rieko in 2024, Ennor?

On form Proctor (especially considering Ennor won't be playing for much of 2024 due to injury recovery)

One guy who is a bit of a forgotten man is TJ Perenara.
Not his biggest fan but I wonder if he's a chance if they are looking for experience in one of their 3 halfbacks with Smith and Weber gone.
Will he get enough game time to push his case? On form, and if everyone stays fit, he'll be getting ~15mins most weeks

Fakatava got picked in the first squad of 2022 with similar minutes.

Ha yes. He got locked into NZ and then his selection was less urgent

Classic line from a Herald article
Tupou Vaa’i is the latest in a string of formidable locks for the All Blacks. Vaa’i has filled in superbly when his number has been called.

@Frank The less you play, the more highly you get rated.

He’s about as formidable as Ennor is good at tackling. I still remember Robbie Henshaw brushing him off like he didn’t even exist

I didn't realise that he's still only 31! Pity he didn't kick on as well as he could.

Bollocks TJ has been awesome, he was great last year before injury. He was def #2 until he was injured.

That's hilarious. He's probably the most underwhelming AB lock I have ever seen, even more so than Isaac Ross.
-
If Josh Lord manages to gain a few kilos of muscle, then he could well be the incumbent, alongside Scott Barrett. When is Holland eligible. He's the one with the highest ceiling, IMO.

Agree with first sentence. Second... harsh
P.S. was a fanboi ... of both ...

@cgrant Lord should already be the incumbent, he's got enough size.
Too skinny. Pari Pari Parkinson is a much better bet

Especially if we want to continue losing.
