Have to think that could well end Canes time in black, barring several injuries?

If he isnt here to play Super and make a push for the black jersey, then with Razor there, have to think he'd be looking at a clean slate almost.

Good on him. Think he could do with a break. Maybe he comes bac refreshed and stronger. Also, it gives Tim something to celebrate as wunderkid Dalton now has a free path to the top.

I think it is a good idea for Cane to go, get away from Nz and just Play some rugby elsewhere after the final.

It is also a convenient excuse as to why Razor won’t pick him.

Better late than never but it’s a good place for Cane to practice lowering his tackling height.

And so it begins ... and - no doubt - more to follow:

Ta$man's Seta Baker and North Harbour's Danyon Morgan-Puterangi have signed with NE Free Jacks in the MLR.

Yeah. I live in the Waikato. We had nine teams this season. A couple of teams left over covid time but new teams have joined.

Over 35's generally. Anyone younger can play if they play in the pressies spirit. Sons play with father's and grandfathers sometimes.

                          Couldn't play pressies.

Notwithstanding health issues and being in my 50s (not that they are unrelated), but just wouldn't know how to regulate whether it was full on, or hold back a touch.

Spose that was the good thing about playing up here on the Sunny Coast. Could keep playing Seniors then Reggies ( Reserves) way into my mid 40s and just playing as hard as I could, until I couldn't 🙂

@booboo over here you just play, just no need to be super serious but everyone is out there going about as hard as they can. We had a 73 yo out on the wing the other week and he did bloody well!

HB and former Ta$man prop Isaac Salmon has signed with NOLA Gold.

Some of the text of this post is hilarious:

"Isaac Salmon has had standout performances in both the MLR and Bunnings NPC." Must have been for Ta$man in the past.

"Currently a key player for the HAwke’s Bay MagpiEs, ..." Whaaaaaat? A key player? In all the 3 games (70 minutes) he played for us when he came off the bench? He was a key foodbill allright.
