The UK Equalities and Human Rights Commission is being investigated by the United Nations for in effect transphobia...

It's been in the works for a while. The EHRC Chair was installed by Liz Truss from. and is Badenoch's puppet

Should be interesting to watch this play out

The same UN that's yet to condemn Hamas? Does anyone give a flying fuck what the UN thinks?

The grown ups have entered the conversation in parliament today. Kemi Badenoch has been brilliant at the Despatch Box today, crystal clear, picked up the key issues, dealt brilliantly with questions. A good summary below:

    @antipodean

    I love that.

I find it amazing that someone would make that statement and not know the occasion on which it was said.

Loved the "I'm not gay, but I want to marry Kemi." comment from a woman in the tweet replies

its fabulous to see someone refuse to be cowed by the usual tactics. the refusal to accept that stating facts makes you a transphobe etc exposes these arguments for the hollow slurs they really are. Go Kemi

    Great first comment on YouTube.

"So, just to be clear, it's unparliamentary to call someone a liar, but not unparliamentary to tell lies? The mind boggles!"

These are just a talking shop and a colossal waste of time and MONEY.

I’m not sure it’s a waste of time actually, it moves what has mostly been a debate online out of the public eye into a grown up space where blocking people and living in an echo chamber is no longer possible. Shine the light.

MP's can lie with impunity in the HoC with zero fear of libel and do so.

Remember the "Matt Hancock handed his Pub landlord a multi-million pound PPE Deal after secret WhatsApp messages" stories a few years back? Was exposed as as complete lie and made up story yet was repeatedly stated as fact in Parliament by Opposition MP's.

Speaking of brass, watch the last minute and a bit. Also notice how Rayner puts her face-mask on when she's caught out.

as much as i think the situation is ridiculous and applaud the women who've boycotted his team, the reality is that he has a point - the FA has created this situation by creating ridiculous rules that suggest there are situations in which men can play in women's football, and in his view, he's met those criteria. We should be shouting at the FA in this situation.

Does he/she have a point? People shouldn't be forced to play a game if they don't want to

Stumbled across this in my interwebbing while looking for gardening audio.

Debbie Hayes on the Midwifery Council’s Removal of ‘Woman & Baby’

Debbie Hayes on the Midwifery Council’s Removal of ‘Woman & Baby’
    false

Petitions are addressed to the House of Representatives and ask that the House do something about a policy or law, or put right a local or private concern.

Not sure she presents her case as well as she could, but maybe it's a chance to do something more tangible about the creep of this idiocy than just whinge on here.

Any other literal Hitlers out there?
