<p>It's a bit strange. We don't do Silver historically.<br><br>
To date (pre Rio) we have 44 gold, 20 silver, 45 Bronze.<br><br>
I always felt that was down to having a shit hot champion medal favourite win gold, or having an awesome crack as a battler to win bronze.</p>

Carter has been Val's bridesmaid for the best part of ten years. She has great shot put pedigree as her dad is still the American high school record holder and won an Olympic silver in the 80s before going to play NFL. She is a worthy champion who pulled off an amazing PB when it counted most. <br><br>
Plus, Americans have proper out of competition testing which is when people dope (no one's stupid enough to be on the juice at championship). This is not like being beaten by a random Belarusian who has spent the winter on a diet of steroids and anvils in Minsk who then throws like the Hulk in the summer. -
