I can't say I remember him looking fat, I clearly wasn't checking him out as much as you.
I can only assume he looked at Morgan and decided that was a look that helped your career in NZ so decided to give it a shot too.

The same applies to his younger brother Charles. He was such a good player at 1st XV/U20 level, and I thought he would have a bright future as a tall, athletic 6.
I've no idea where he is now after playing for Southland.

@Bovidae He looked OK, but just a bit lightweight to become a SR level 6.

27-year-old Joel Hintz wil make his debut for the Sharks in the URC match against the Stormers on saturday.

I was going to say he has a great chance of breaking the SR try-scoring record, but maybe not...
@Bovidae Was thinking about how close he was. He missed virtually the whole of last season too .
