Forest have less to play with as well due to being in the Championship for 2 of those 3 years under the microscope.
Might be time for sides to start breeding more players from their academies instead of spending millions on waste.

Forest transfer balance was -190m for last season. They are also (according to the link below) well up in the list of salaries. Paying almost 3 times as much as Luton. And more than Brighton who are in Europe and made 95m on transfers this season and 82m last season

Firstly, those numbers are insane.
Secondly, the money in England is insane
Thirdly, lol @ Man U
-
Well Chelsea think they are clean thanks to amortization, so if that is allowed Im guessing other big clubs are doing it too
-
Amortisation to the extent that Chelsea have been doing, has already been ruled out going forward. I think the maximum you can now amortise a player purchase over is 5 years.
Chelsea will be in a power of shit if a few of their big money purchases don't pan out and they are forced to sell them at a massive loss. Amortisation policy will bite them in the arse.

Klopp leaving end of season.
That will be a huge change!
Basically the whole coaching staff
Pretty significant
-
Wow! Who comes in? I have a feeling they'll go very hard at Xabi Alonso.
He always said he was gonna leave in 2024 in fairness.
-
@MajorRage
Nooooooooooooooooo!!!!
Fucking love Kloppo what a priveledge it has been to have him manage the greatest club in the world

They also need a sporting Director too.
Kloppo said he told the owners in November. So I hope that means we have a replacement already lined up who will be bringing his coaching staff with him.
Alonso would be great if we can get him. He is revolutionising football tactics in Germany

He extended his contract until 2026.
We knew it wasn’t forever but it is still hard to take hearing the news

@DaGrubster Let's be honest, contracts mean shit in football.
Gerrard lol, we did Liverpool a massive favour by giving him a gig and showing them how bad a manager he was.

Sam Kerr does her ACL - think there needs to be some serious work to prevent so many ACL injuries in the women's game.
Contemplating this after seeing an article in Stuff with a slightly clickbaity headline as follows:
It seems women are made different to men (1. Maybe one for the Trans debate thread, 2. Who da thunk?).
Learned this with teenage daughter playing netball. Said daughter apparently had Osgood-Schlatters Diease and Sinding-Larsen-Johannsen Syndrome, not uncommon in developing teenage girls. Essentially girl's hips, legs knees develop with different angles.
Given the specific rigours and dynamics of netball knee and ankle injuries are common, exacerbated by physiological development, and Aus netball has a specific programme to try and combat it. But has not eliminated the issue.
I wasn't aware until I talked to the physio, but hope this is drummed into coaches.
Kind of thing that needs to be developed in soccer?
But I digress...

Big risk to take on Alonso for both parties - similar to taking over from Fergie or Wenger, when the whole club has been shaped around one manager, the next man in has a really tough job.
Last day of the transfer window and no big moves announced yet as far as I know.

I think more clubs would have been certainly recruiting if they didn't have threat of losing points.
City having KDB back almost seems like a transfer lol, what an immediate impact

@KiwiPie People being scared off now that they're actually policing ffp for once

final deadline getting interesting, ex Man C flop Enes Unal signed on loan to Bournemouth, papers hoping it will trigger a Solanke move, however I suspect this allows club to sell Moore to Sunderland/Ipswich
Who knows though funny things can happen on a deadline -
