😲 No doubt the ICC Corruption Commission will be burning the night light over this one.

Mohammed Aamir bowls a bunch of extras. Haven't I heard this one before?

Seriously though, it's a good result for the tournament - wakes everyone up and sparks things up.

Pakistan already need to beat India or have Ireland beat the US - or they're going home.

Great for the USA, but sad that it's against Pakistan as the match fixing question will always hang over it.

If I was a conspiracy theorist, I would say ICC has paid off Pakistan to help grow the game in the US

Obviously the match fixing calls were always gonna get mentioned haha, but man, the USA play some good cricket. They're a legit competitive side.

Makes sense, cricket and baseball obviously aren't identical but do have some transferable skills, and it's not like USA is short of immigration from cricketing nations.

When I was working at an American university 20 years ago there were always Indian students playing cricket on the campus footpaths. I'm sure many stayed in the US.

Aaron Jones was born in NYC but played mostly in Barbados.

@Bovidae Yeah, there was a cricket league in the Bay Area then, due to the south asian students and employees in the area.
