It would be a disaster if he appointed Scott Barrett as captain. Apart from the fact it would make Robertson look like he's unable to look outside his Crusader mates - its already bad enough with Richie and Sam. Scott would almost be the final straw for me.
But he has a much better candidate who seems to tick all the boxes.

I'm a big Ardie fan, but his captaincy hasn't been great. I'd pick Scott, and I wouldn't care that he goes on a sabbatical next year. That's my prediction

Annoyed that Delany has been out for a while, he was one of the form locks before he got injured aswell.

@frugby I always had a bit of time for him, but like Pat Tuipulotu, he's always injured.

You would assume they are selecting 4 locks so Strange was always going to be a good chance as the fourth lock. Hopefully Lord is close to full fitness by July.

Hopefully he learns some of the laws of rugby in the interim. Olympic level stupid.
