Ratima start, Christie on the benchi'd love to see 7 savea 8 Sititi and personally id give Finau another shot at 6.....but i think theyve made it quite clear savea is an 8 as far as theyre concerned
and i think Ioane gets back in (as much as i want to see proctor)...home ground, incumbent with eden park record etc....

I suspect he may be close to getting picked. Not saying I would select him, but when he started looking like he belonged in Super Rugby this year he showed a handy running game, a crisp pass and the ability to clear under pressure.
He could be the backline selection version of Bell.

Funaki is definitely a better player, and has had more game/big game experience, esp recently. I reckon it is a bit of a bullshit call, very open to bias

Add to it, they're going to be in Auckland, you know, where Funaki actually lives and plays? Someone who was a big part of a super dominant team and didn't just play a couple of decent games towards the end of the season after stinking it up at the start.
Funaki would be exactly who you bring in as injury cover. This is getting silly now.

Quicker pass than Christie and Perenara, total nightmare to defend against around the fringes, and massive and accurate boot. -

@Machpants Sounded like best case was a few games for Counties in the NPC.
