Genuinely surprised at the aversion to a visible shot clock. If we are worried about time wasting then just shorten the time on the clock. Why wouldn’t we want a single source of truth, visible to all parties? I used to kick, and having a ref in my ear telling me “20 seconds” then “10 seconds” sounds bloody annoying.

Yeah true, seems much easier to break your concentration to turn and look at a shot clock.

I don't see any great aversion to it, it just seems very unnecessary. But I can understand the desire for it when one AB kicker fell foul of timekeeping once, in one game.

Give them a clock, make it short, and stop the match clock. We should reduce time wasting and maximise time in play.

Does the "shot clock" apply to all penalty kicks? Can't find anything specific in the laws. If a team were trying to run down the game clock does it apply in all parts of the field and kicks to touch?

If so, stopping the match clock would have quite an impact on the total match time (if all teams used the maximum - extreme I know). Average number of penalties in super is 19 per match (can't find test stat). Add 19 minutes to a match and it could run over a 2 hour TV slot with all the crap that goes on beforehand, etc.

Anyway, it's a good thing to have it available for the kicker, crowd countdowns aside, they should know if they are about to run out.

Is "sauce" bothering anyone else or just me? Lol.

I feel like I would have to travel millions of miles to find someone who doesn't like sauce. You're a rare breed

good because if it had been a sauce it would have been Wurster-shire sauce.

I thought he was reacting to being pushed down in an early scrum - about 10 or 15 minutes in.

That first penalty he won I thought he just stood up.

Trial law and yes all penalty kicks, and same with conversions I think (different time)

When the second sauce squirts sauce on the first sauce , is that double sauce ?

I mean, I don’t want to be a hater, but that clip was hardly insta-worthy! Pretty confident I could do that 95/100 times. Possibly less when running forward at pace with a rushing defense in my face (probably slip to 92/100 or so…😬)

No, it’s only for territories that do not have a broadcast deal in place already to access top tier rugby.

Singapore already has access to top tier rugby.

                                      Think places like Afghanistan etc.

I’m pretty sure this is how rugbypass started up many years ago.

I mean, I don’t want to be a hater, but that clip was hardly insta-worthy! Pretty confident I could do that 95/100 times. Possibly less when running forward at pace with a rushing defense in my face (probably slip to 92/100 or so…😬)

You just know if it’s a complimentary post about Proctor, Roigard or….well ANY Hurricane it’s the old mate @Canes4life who shared it.

@Bones if it was a sauce I picked up I would have said, and I actually think it was actually closer call than alot think.

When the second sauce squirts sauce on the first sauce , is that double sauce ?
