Could / Should be a landmark case
From that vid it looks as though there may be a bit more to the story. Is he simply refusing to condone and teach the trans ideology or is he actively demonising both the ideology and people who are trans? Going by that screeching woman supporting him it wouldn’t surprise me if it was the latter.
Ironically she looks a bit like a tranny herself.
Either way, he should be able to express his own opinions to give a balanced case for or against transitioning
Best scenario would be to leave this insidious indoctrination out of the classroom all together
As I thought, more than meets the eye. That arrest was made September 2023 following a previous arrest the year before. The arrest was not for refusing to use preferred pronouns or speaking against trans-ing (is that a word?) but was for contempt of a court order banning him from going to the school from which he was suspended on paid leave. Now we can all argue that his initial position was reasonable ( and I would argue that), but the school have their view point and went through the proper channels all the way through..
NB he has recently been released.. We'll see what the next steps are.

, I wonder what that means?
You know what that means.
If the facts (aka science) doesn't agree with ideology, then the science is wrong. So you get into cognitivie dissonance with the shared worldview
The UK did an in-depth, scientific, peer-reviewed report/review into transgender cate for children (Cass Report). It effectively called Puberty Blockers untested, dangerous and advised they should be banned for children
The British Medical Association Board (representing 195k doctors) almost immediately rejected the report, calling the findings "unsubstantiated" - despite the scientific evidence - with some leaders calling the report "toxic".......

"And then one day for no reason at all people voted Adolf Hitler into power."

I'm at the point now if a political party ran purely on a platform against this insanity they would have my vote. Especially if it included severe criminal repercusions against these 'professionals' butchering children. How on earth has the world gotten into this state? I see NZ have again delayed a report on puberty blockers again, I wonder what that means?
It probably means the minister in charge of mental health may have used to have worked at the Tavistock, and, I seem to recall, has a leaning towards allowing his kids to discover their own gender.
Dude is indoctrinated and is trying to block reality.

Fair enough
Agreed

this was discussed above, Sutton's chairman has now made a statement suggesting that they do not support discrimination, I wonder whether it will turn into a stand off between the players and the club or whether, as I suspect is more likely, the players will back down and be forced to go along with it. No, it seems, does not mean no anymore, useful info for the misogynists' I suppose

Ah yes, isolated figures used to suggest an epidemic of trans violence that don’t really tell us anything.
Previous versions have shown trans murders happen at lower rates than the rest of the population. A large proportion of the trans murders are drug related, sex workers and domestic / partner violence.
Since we’re doing stats though, U.K. rates of sex offending:
Women: 3 per million
Men: 395 per million
Trans women: 1916 per million.Interesting

Well no-one saw this sort of thing coming.

who'd have thought, putting an ideological male in charge of a woman's rape crisis centre, one who doesn't understand the limits of his authority, nor behave professionally might result in bad outcomes for women. as for the Non-Binary berk, oh just shut up with your performative self importance.
The fact that the male CEO is only suspended at the moment is a disgrace. Ideological capture is real.

He's now stepped down. Why it took so long after he repeatedly allowed a male sexual predator to use the centre is beyond me.

I've toyed with the idea. Not genuine obviously but work has gone super 'dei' and have open policies advising in the name of equity all aspects of work including hiring and promotion will go through a dei lens with preference given to those who a members of oppressed groups. They also provide a few weeks additional leave if you decide to change how you identify.
The question though is although becoming a trans lesbian would tick the right boxes from a policy point of view ultimately a final decision maker might be wise enough to know what a disaster that might be.
