Anyone else watching season 2 of The Rings of Power (LOTR) ?
Quite enjoying this season, some good battles and CGI well done.
Im sure the purists won't probably agree, but enjoyable watch

I’m unsure about The Penguin. Good enough show and as you say if you didn’t know it was Farrell… but going by the first episode it seems as though it might fall between two stools. Is it a crime show, is it fantasy? I’ll probably stick with it but I’m hoping it nails its colours to the mast fairly quick.

Fight scenes are great and it looks amazing. It's a shame about the dialogue and pacing.

Pacing hasn't been great, but the world they have put together has been great and the battle scenes very good. New writers could take this a new level, lets see, something to look forward to in season three

Wife and I finished this yesterday, was not intending to, but was kind of catchy and a fun watch. A great cast too

Eerily similar to what’s going on at the moment
Labour 24 trying to do a remake but with lesser actors and a more informed and discerning audience

One of my main problems now - is looking at previous, and current, wrestlers - and constantly wondering "where you one of them?"
Drew McIntyre - in particular... at one point had a whole storyline about being "Vince McMahon's favourite". Either... that was complete kayfabe, or... guy's a prick. And I keep watching his recent career wondering... is this all a matter of pushing him out the door? But it keeps stretching out, and you keep paying him a wage...? -
About 5 seasons into Seinfeld.
It provides plenty of amusing situations, but I think Jerry is a bit of a dick, as I previously mentioned, the stand up scenes, not funny.
Kramer is the best thing about the show, and even then, I think they know this and overplay this somewhat.
Unsure if I'll finish all the seasons, might have a break with Home Improvement.
Am 3 eps into latest season of Slow Horses, I still enjoy this show

Ms Antipodean and I binged this. Much better than I thought it would be. Some very funny lines and good characters.

But it keeps stretching out, and you keep paying him a wage...?It looked like they were pulling their punches a bit when they announced that WWE and Netflix had a broadcast deal, but then they dived back into it, but, due to the format they didn't really going in depth. If you want more in depth about that then the Behind the Bastards podcast has a good episode on it.
The less you know about the background stuff in wrestling I guess the better it would be. If I hadn't listened to the above podcast way more of this would have been new to me.
Some of the wrestlers comments come across quite bad in hindsight. Especially around CTE, which they all completely poo pooed despite the evidence relating to Benoit.
Also, McMahon's face looks weird as fuck, don't know if it's old man or plastic surgery, likely a mix of both I'd say.
