Well I am stunned that anyone is talking up Tupou, he spent most of time on field, either walking in midfield, or on odd time he gpt to ruck he never drives in from back. he looked unfit, and uninterested for about 30 of the 40 minnutes he was on field.

As I say, he'd have veen a superstar if he'd stayed in the NZ system and made to work. Guy can scrum and run. I'd be picking him.

@Winger yeah he put on a few big hits but overly fairly quiet. If Shields isn't back next week I would shift Sangster to partner Walker-Leawere and move Delany to blindside.

I forgot about Cameron and how well he played last year. Must be in the AB frame. He is a traditional pivot who controls the game well. Just what the Canes need to compliment all the flash Harrys.

@Dan54 @Bovidae Good to see I'm not the only one who's a fan of Laban. A fantastic caller who knows how to pronounce Pacific Island names properly, always has a background knowledge of every player, and genuinely has a passion for the game from the top all the way down to the grassroots.

I am visiting Mum's so the game was 20 minutes up the road. Went along, never seen so may cars in Methven.
Hard to get anything from the game but Billy Harmon is a brick shithouse and he influences the game whenever he is involved. He has looked AB material to me for a few seasons now.

I agree but I wouldn’t mind Moorby on the right wing when Love returns. He kind of reminds me of Jane, has speed, a good fend and is strong for his size, pretty sound under the high ball aswell.

I think the Chiefs game was a little out of the norm. The Canes are not normally left short in the kicking department but with Love and Cameron injured, Barrett unavailable and Godfrey with the Under 20s we kind of ran out of options.

@Winger yeah he's been below par the last couple of weeks. After being a standout against the Brumbies I hope he can pick it up again because we need his physicality against the likes of Rettalick, Tuipolotu and Whitelock over the next three weeks.
