              @steven-harris

              Commentary says that he is playing in the loosies.

              Someone must be injured?

                  That's weird with Havili in the reserves.

                    @kiwimurph

                    I think Havili is at 8 (correction he's on the openside) and Hyland is at 6. Akira only played a few minutes. Hopefully thats just a precaution

                      2nd half,been all the Canes,Blues doing a ton of defending,but you sense the door is going to open shortly 17minutes to go Canes leading 26-14

                          Blues look like they need another week of training.. Even in the first half the Canes looked sharper and more organised

                            Really impressed with the Scotsman Murray Douglas who played for the Taniwha last year,calling the shots at lineout time and very good around the paddock,also Chase Tiatia,damn the man is elusive..!

                              @duluth both teams while there is the odd starting 23 player on the field has 2nd string look about and the game has gone south.

                                Game over,canes win 26-14:some pressure from the Blues right at the end comes to nought,pass dropped by a blues player with the line open,
                                Good hitout for both teams,don’t know If you can read too much into the 2nd half given all the changes,
                                One things for sure the Canes certainly know who to sniff out chances.

                                  @steven-harris Don't agree with the scrums observations, they are even. Blues forwards look solid, maul defence and goal line D look good.

                                        @stargazer Lowe scored a nice intercept early in the second half and looked sharp.

                                        Moron Hamish Bidwell recently bagged him in a preseason report. From his track record that means he'll have a great season.
