Try Savan's bakery when going through Warkworth. Won heaps of awards (possibly even best in NZ IIRC) and they are really good pies. They are even in some of the local petrol stations.
How the fck does this happen? "Stupid shit you see on the internet" has turned into a discussion about pies - which is a very serious matter!
