That's a solid looking team with a Plan B bench.

Will be interesting to see the SA side.

Strong looking England front five and backline. Experimental backrow. I think Itoje with play 6 against the All Blacks.

Even missing Willie Le Roux and Faf De Klerk that is a strong-looking Boks team.

That England forward pack should get eaten up by the Bok eight.

Will certainly be a tough test for England's new back row. Will be some bruises to wear before facing us.

I also suspect that Itoje may go missing in the tight once he gets smashed by the big Saffas a few times.

This could go either way but if SA believe they can go 3-1 versus England in 2018

Yeah that forward pack is going to take England to the cleaners.

@crucial Don't know much about the English loosehead prop but Kyle Sinckler is one of the weakest scrummaging tightheads around. The only question is whether or not the Boks can lift against a team that is not wearing black, if they can then I think they should have too much for this English team.

Alec Hepburn does not look your archetypal loosehead, he looks a bit lightweight, however if his stats on the Exeter Chiefs website are to be believed he's no midget at 6'1" and 17 plus stone. Maybe he gets measured by the same guy that does Ardie Savea?

He's probably the favoured loosehead at Exeter and rarely does it seem that he's a weak scrimmaging link and he gets about the park and carries well. He's now played at under 20 and senior level for England despite being born in Australia. not sure how he qualifies, parents or Grandparents I guess.

Edit: Qualifies through his English father, apparently took up rugby at school in England and played county level under 17s.

I'm always confused about the racial requirements of the boks. It's always in the news, 50% for rwc and 45% now. But that team has only a handful of players of colour. So they make these rules and just ignore them?

This will be a tight game, England b vs the boks minus their most important current player. As mentioned above, are the boks up for a non ABs game?

2 locks on the bench for Boks. Interesting.

lock will be the weak point for England as the game goes on. Could be a clever strategy.

Pieter Steph du Toit will most likely be shifted to no. 7 (in your speak = no.6) at some point.
My guess is in place of Whitely with Duane moving to 8.

So likely subbed off will be Whitely for Lood de Jager(50min) and Etzebeth for RG Snyman(65min)...

I am guessing from all of the above that Rassie is expecting a heavy slow paddock requiring lots of grunt up front.
