A fairly even and good (almost full) day of cricket. I'd rather be in our spot than the Bangladeshi's, but they did make better use of the new ball. Even if helped by that cloud building up..

I think we are the only team that can win from here. We just need to bat quickly and rack up 350 - 400 by about tea and then hope our bowlers can get some wickets.

If we collapse in a heap and are all out for 150 or so, it will still be very difficult for Bangladesh to win. They'll have to bat quickly to set a total and then bowl us out. Seems very unlikely and risky on their part.

@Damo Hard to see us losing 18 wickets in two days, with the Bangles somehow needing to fit an innings in as well.

I think we probably have to play it like we're expecting a full days play tomorrow - which for me means batting at least an hour after tea and aiming for a lead of at least 200 - preferably a bit more. Be good to remove most of the prospect of batting again and losing a couple of overs to the change of innings.

Kane clutching the shoulder and looking in pain, hope he can continue cos him and Rossco are making things look pretty easy this morning and scoring nice and quick.

Foxtel in Aus just switched from the cricket to a magazine tennis show. TV Guide says cricket all day. Like someone pressed the wrong button and no one's noticed. Fuckwits

132 run partnership so far from Ross and Kane. Superb viewing. Put on some Marty Crowe highlights at lunch and we've got the holy trinity

We need to seriously appreciate Taylor cos I'm not sure how long he'll keep playing.

150 run partnership up with a bangin six from Taylor.

On 85 now, fucken awesome considering we were 8/2 at one stage due to Latham/Raval doing a 90's/2000s Black Caps opener impersonation.

That pitch, looks like an artificial pitch down the local club thats been well used. Ridiculous.
Great batting by Ross & KW this morning. I'd bring in CDG next, we should bat until mid to late Session 3.

Yeah great call, another opportunity to smash a quick score, pad the average and piss off all the ferners who don't want him in the team

Taylor on 94 at over 100 strike rate. Clearly wants his ton before lunch.

How good is it when a Black Cap number 5 comes out with a 43.84 average ?

Still reckon they should have had CDGH and Southee after him though....

Should probably fess up and take some blame for that wicket.

In between flights so just sat down to watch Rossco hopefully get to his tonne... and that happened.

Pretty bloody good, I’ve had to wait a lifetime to see just how good it is though.
