Nah don’t think so. They should aim for 3rd.

Sean Maitland (ex-Crusaders) scores for Scotland 14-8.

Conversation over 14-10 H/T

Blade Thomson's Scotland debut over three minutes after half time. Goes off after a bang to the head.
-
56 minutes gone. French look out of puff already. Scottish lineout terrible. 10-14. Quality of this is shocking.
-
Chris Harris with the try after 60 minutes. Scotland hit the lead. France look bored. Poor defence. 17-14
-
Neither of these sides will make the RWC quarter finals based on today's evidence.
-
Scotland win 17-14. They have two tests against Georgia before the Rugby World Cup.
-
Enland with an early Farrell penalty but Ireland right back at them with a converted try in the corner.
Shit defence from England. Three defenders blocking out the Irish chaser, no one watching the ball.
England 3 - 7 Ireland

Slick ball off the back of the scrum, England easily outflank Ireland.
Cok in the corner.
England 8 - 7 Ireland

England look bloody impressive.
Ireland have pack problems. Best is their John Smit just past it and their South Africans Stander and Kleyn are struggling.
Backs are also defending poorly.
-
@Billy-Tell England make more dominant tackles than any other team. Hugely physical. Agree that Ireland have been average.
-
England looking very impressive. Ireland look like they have just met. 22-10. Could get ugly for Ireland in the second half.
-
Ireland rudderless
-
Impressive by England. But to win the World Cup they have 5 consecutive games against tier 1 nations, although they could probably afford to lose one of those pool games. Will be tough.
Ireland don’t have decent backups for 9 and 10 if Carbery doesn’t make it.
Intriguing to see how things pan out in second 40.

England made 95% of their tackles in the first half, Ireland only 64%.
