Did Foster say Ennor was 13 or wing cover? If so Big Leicester is like for like but PUJ the more established (in terms of appearing for the ABs) and as Frank said above, can play 12? Not sure Ennor was considered at all as a 12?

Foster said like Rieko that Ennor is wing-13 cover.

I don't believe they considered Ennor at 12 as when it came to 12 they specifically mentioned that's why they looked at Tupaea (they seem as a 12) and that Jordie can also cover 12.

@rancid-schnitzel Yeah I'm in the same boat. Never seen the massive hype behind the guy but he's had a horrible run of injuries. Wish him well.

That's because there hasn't been massive hype. Agree, he is not a test level midfielder. Not even sure I rate him there for the Crusaders.

@crazy-horse Fair enough. A lot of the people I know down here go on about how good he is, maybe its just me.

If someone is to come in for Ennor, maybe Umaga Jensen could be worth another look? He does cover both midfield positions and looked ok in his 1 test last year.

Left-sided players was the term used so Fainga'anuku would probably be the replacement.

        However...

As for Ennor being unavailable, McLeod said they’re not at looking adding someone to the squad for the Steinlager Series.

“We’re not sure when ALB will be available, it depends on his progress.

“But in terms of bringing someone in, it’s just within the squad at the moment.

“There has been no indication of anyone coming in, so we’ll work within the team and see how we go.”

@bovidae can just image Foster reads the below and yells out, hey we could get Hollywood method acting closer to the action!
"... dynamic Sevu Reece inside him at No 12, having been shifted from the wing for his final year."

So Keo in SA has written off the All Black forwards as "frail". Hate to say it but he does have a point (for once). Unless there are some serious improvements this year, this so-called frailty is going to be an obvious target for the opposition.
