@tim said in All Blacks 2021: So at 1.39.18, ABs get penalty. TJP tries to get ball off Itoje to get on with things. Farrell gets in to interfere/pull TJP jersey. Whitelock pushes him off and catches Owen's face. Penalty reversal. NO. Warning for Owen F not to prevent ABs playing on. That reffing mistake was fatal. 14-16 and my money would have been on us. STILL haven'd rewatched last 15.

@bones said in All Blacks 2021: Ioane/Robinson/Blackadder/Grace (flip a four sided coin) Grace hasn't been up to it this year (he's had a few decent games late in the season like Sotutu) - you'e better off including the Tongan who has had a good season and might finally realise his potential or go with a three sided coin.

@kiwimurph said in All Blacks 2021: With Cane out there's no way this coaching group won't start Ardie. Ardie will start at either 7 or 8. At least he can't play both which means a start for one of Papali'i/Sotutu/Jacobson. I’d say with both Cane and Frizell out that Ardie is a dead certainty to start in the bigger games

I'm fine with Ardie starting (though prefer him off the bench), but he'll need a couple of big boppers either side of him.

Just realized I put this in the wrong thread. Provided his head is okay, I think Jacobsen should get the spot at 8. Akira at 6 and Dalton at 7 - with Ardie as the impact sub.
I'd like to see that huge Canterbury prop on the bench and Peter Umaga Jensen be given a go at 12 at some stage.

Super rugby isn't test rugby. Hah and I'd forgotten about Frizzel. Isn't he injured?

@bones said in All Blacks 2021: @machpants shit of course, how could I forget player voting is the selection criteria this year. It's higher than the opinion of someone's who thinks Ardie is not a test match player, he won us a few over the last few years against the boks

@machpants won games on his own?

@kiwiwomble said in All Blacks 2021: @machpants won games on his own? Don't be facetious. He was a major factor, same way as Carter, McCaw, etc can be a major factor; and it would be hard to see the victory if another played instead.
