Was not the best game but was a great atmosphere. Beer in 2 pint mugs. One for each half😁

What do they serve at Sandy Park? Gotta be better than fkn Steinlager pisswater that is always forced upon me at ABs matches!

Sounds great, I was meant to be in Wales/England this time 3 years ago, basically wanted to catch some club stuff, but broke my leg in Italy on the way, so am kind of hoping to head over in 3 years (covid permitting, so may want to meet up for a beer!

14,100 in for a club match. West Country derby too.

If you do get to the UK and make it this far west, a beer would definitely be on the cards.

The hospitality is quite varied with several bars serving a variety of beers, lagers and wine. There are also some mini bars selling gin and prosecco. The main beer is a local brew, Otter Bitter, to which I am very partial to. There was also some craft stuff that my future ex son-in-law liked.

Yeah I like that, very nice drop indeed. Session beer IIRC, lovely. I think we had it at the Double Locks when we were there in 2015, watched Namibia Tonga IIRC

Yeah only about 3.8%, so very quaffable. The Locks is a Youngs pub but always has one or two guest beers. Did you walk there or drive over the narrow swing bridge?

It’s becoming very expensive in the UK to watch rugby live now. On my way to the Exeter v Bristol game now with my £39 standing ticket in my pocket. Looking forward to paying £6 for a pint and more for pasties. My mate has just taken out a debenture for a seat in the new stand. £5k loan for 10 years. No interest paid snd a miserly 5% discount on the match tickets

              WTF!

Walked there, was a lovely day. Lots of swans, sun shining, in laws looking after the kids for a couple of days - bliss

And here is the Welsh report of the transfer. Incidentally Mr. Fifita will be missing from the Wasps lineup against Leicester on Sunday (Monday morning NZ time) as he has a touch of one of the Covid19 virus strains.

Still wouldn't be surprised if he ends up "finding himself" and becoming a star. He's certainly been on a downward spiral in NZ the last couple of years, but when he was in form it was definite shades of baby Kaino. If he discovered the ability to physically impose himself then he could go far.

@bones The real problem was the coaches at Super and NPC levels tied to coach him into a completely different type of player to that he was when he first burst onto the scene. You even had Messrs. Plumtree and Hansen openly stating he was a lock and blindside flanker only respectively and each steadfastly not playing him anywhere other than their particular preferred position. When was the last time you saw him ranging out wide like he did when he stared his First Class career when he either scored tries himself or created them with offloads to supporting players? Just a shame he did not opt to go to Japan where he would have been a superstar up there had he been allowed to use his size and speed against the diminutive little Japanese defenders.

@higgins I dunno, to me it seemed they tried to take a bloke with superb athletic ability and mould him into a useful first class player capable of being more than just a flat track bully on one side of the ball. Two ways to skin a cat so could have gone the way you suggest and use him out wide, but then you're just hoping he picks up the other stuff.

Would prolly be an excellent league player!

Fucken knob - and a very lucky one at that. I almost hope England continue with him just to see the dickhead cost them dearly.

I guess Leicester weren't successful thinking being captain might make him grow up.
