It was interesting that Henry went with the Howlett/Rangi 14/15 for the first test and then the Gear/Mils 14/15 combo for tests 2 and 3.

The terrible weather in the 1st test might have played a part in the selections. Like the halfbacks, they gave some players a test each and then rewarded the best performed in the 3rd test. While the ABs played well in Chch they went up another level in Wellington.
