To put into context where Pukekohe HS is within the Chiefs region, they played Matamata College today in the Waikato 1st Division final. Matamata won 24-17.

Onewhero is my old school. Hauraki are actually a Thames Valley school and they annoyed their home union when they came over to the Counties Comp. Some of their kids would be living in the Counties region.

I couldn't find the Chiefs Girls Top 4 qualifiers. Will the Chiefs Manawa 1st XV competition winner (Hamilton Girls' won the final on 6 July 2022) represent the Chiefs region at the Top 4?

The curtain raiser for the Shield game at McLean Park is the Hawke's Bay Secondary Schools Division 1 Final between Hastings Boys' "red" (I think that's their 3rd XV) and Lindisfarne 2nd XV.
