@Mattasaurus his work rate is a heck of a lot higher than Karl T. Work rate has nothing to do with it. Foster is going to play a boring forwards game like last year. Props not getting involved at the breakdown and holding off. Bullshit gameplan. We will be get dominated once our locks get tired.

We’ve been calling for the selectors to be a bit more bold and it could’ve been quite easy to go back to Perenara and Weber but they’ve gone for two younger players. Could’ve selected Ennor but they’re taking a punt on an ex-leaguie who’s played in all reality not a lot of footy. I applaud that.

Form was obvious in the selection of the halfbacks. And RTS has a higher upside than Ennor does, who hasn't made a case to be an outside back deserving of selection.

@Tim said in All Blacks 2022: Good possibility that this will be the starting tight five: 1 Tu’inukuafe
 2 Taylor
 3 Laulala
 4 Whitelock
 5 RetallickNot great. Big Karl's selection has blindsided me - so who knows. But, I was thinking: Bower, Taylor, Laulala, Barrett and Retallick. Well, I'm hoping they pick Barrett to play 80 and use Retallick and Whitelock in tandem. I'd quite like to see Ofa instead of Nepo - but, only if his scrumming vs de Groot was an aberration. No need for the red card jokes.

I still think MMT’s time will come. Big fan of his. Put it down to more Chiefs bias

@ACT-Crusader Plumtree's Taranaki bias.

Hodgeman/Robinson should feel a little hard done by, not sure what else they need to do, I hope this doesn't fuck with their heads before the weekend.
 I would have preferred Sullivan over Havs as he has future written all over him whereas Havs at best is second rate cover.

@number9 said in All Blacks 2022: So Big Karl plays maybe 2 hours all season, is leaving for Europe and Fozz the fuckwit still selects him. Fucking idiot. 100% biggest suprise for me too - playing looked like a guy who had no chance of getting in the AB's too.
 I know they like older props who are 'mature'.. but I reckon if you're good enough you're good enough and this is a selection that could bite us in the arse next year. Should have had one youthful player in there
