You and many others were huge critics of Beauden kicking like that, even though he never tried those kicks at Super level. Now Richie is doing it too it's acknowledged that it's tactics not the player. Good we are all on the same page now
@No-Quarter If it's mainly one player doing it, it's on that player. If they all do it (in the same game), it's clearly game plan.

I really love the way Japan play, no matter what's happening they don't go into their shell, they keep trying to play positive footy to the final hooter.

They've bombed a couple of opportunities going for the offload instead of taking the "smart" play, and I fucking love it.

One thing I notice with Christie’s clearance from the ruck is that he doesn’t want to burrow in and get the ball and it delays the clearance. He seems to be a half a step away from the bodies and it gives the defence time.
Smiths first ruck clearance pass and he is right in there
