Is there any footage of the AB trial match later in the year? I recall him causing a lot of problems.. Berryman was meant to start but had a late injury

There was also the NZ Harlequins XV (ABs in disguise) vs Waikato, which was played in April. Berryman is listed as the fullback and scored 4 tries. Lomu got 3. It was the game where Zinzan injured his Achilles and was in doubt for the RWC.

So I think the North v South game got Lomu back into the mix after being mishandled in 1994
The Quins v Waikato hame had Berryman pencilled in
The Possibles v Probables got Lomu in after a late Berryman scratching and Lomu got promoted to start

I was at the game and have a match programme somewhere but don't remember seeing any footage on YT either. Here is the summary of the team lists and scorers. Poor defence from the ABs.

Ellis at 2nd 5 that day. Three players in the Waikato team who are currently involved with the ABs in some capacity.

This was objectively the best RWC because one very generous young lady scragged young Smuts like Mulder on Lomu.
