A solid few days of rain heading to Paris it seems. Both semis will be wet at this stage.

Boks in final means Nepo has to be on bench (win last night came from a Ox Nche scrum penalty). So needs to be on bench here. I'd also have Ofa, because Nyakane is a very solid TH too.

Otherwise, only change for 23 is Telea in for Leicester.

Play same 23 twice. Some latitude to give some less minutes than others against Pumas.

I'm beginning to like Maro Itoje too since he stopped behaving like a rodeo cowboy shouting Yeehaah! all the bloody time.

@Machpants Haha, my Saffa mates have been great this RWC, well except for the English one (as in he's dual citizen) as he supports England. Aside from my English/Saffa mate I have avoided making acquaintances with the English. 😉

My wife is one, so hard not to! Tho she calls herself Cornish and British not English - she hates the idea 'English' (with it's white supremacist skin head implications) and supports Wales more haha

Oh shit you reminded me I lied, I do have an English mate, but he supports the ABs (and the Poo so he's not perfect).

The Cornish are very proud of being Cornish, I have a half Cornish friend, she's still happy to say she's English though but will say Cornish-English. Her family are a lot darker than the usual ENglish look.

They are quiet about it though and as I've found after living here for 7 years, seem to regard anyone who actually lives in Cornwall full-time as Cornish. Probably more rugby mad than the Welsh just a bit more quiet

Her family are a lot darker than the usual English look

Funnily enough, the most Cornish people I know (from Alternun going back centuries) are as blonde as blonde can be.

The list of English players I don’t like is disappointingly short.

Even guys like Will Carling and Austin Healey proved to be quite good funny buggers once they retired.

Matt Dawson obviously. That Hakarena shit was so embarrassing.

                  Owen Farrell……

But really hard to think of any others.

Danny Care is an absolute top bloke - up there with Fitzy in the down-to-earth, chat to anyone stakes.

Worked in the same team with Dallaglio for 2-3 weeks. Complex bloke. Very, very professional and good to work with, but hard to have a chat to and always felt he was struggling with something.

Kenewek (Cornish) is almost identical to Breton and way closer to other Celtic languages like Welsh. Lots of DNA analysis shows a really high level of DNA similarity. Loads of interesting stuff being discovered as Cornish culture and language revives.

Yeah, think so. Foster has made that clear that the reserve 9 for Ireland was picked on that basis. Maybe they think they'll need to defend against Argentina in the last 20 as well.

@Victor-Meldrew I think Christie was selected for how Ireland attack, not just for defence in general. They tradionally like sparking a hell of a lot of their attack off Gibson-Parkes, so much as I a Roigard fan, could see point last week, and can understand if they think Roigard better bet this week.

I don't get that one, the Cornish were is brain before the French (Norman's) , and Vikings, and in fact the Romans

Kenewek (Cornish) is almost identical to Breton and way closer to other Celtic languages like Welsh. Lots of DNA analysis shows a really high level of DNA similarity. Loads of interesting stuff being discovered as Cornish culture and language revives.

Correct, those were the Cornish/British that fled the Anglo-Saxons to France, not the other way around. That's why it was called Brittany/Breton, they're British

Their metal reserves meant that they traded with Mediterranean countries as far back as first millenium!

Yup you need tin for bronze, so very important in Mediterranean trading for millennia
