If having a defensive edge is required for a quarter final, when you don't even give him any game time - then it sure as shit is required in a final if we make it. Yeah, think so. Foster has made that clear that the reserve 9 for Ireland was picked on that basis. Maybe they think they'll need to defend against Argentina in the last 20 as well.
