<p>I don't think anyone is talking him up because of his surname. I agree that he might not turn out to be the greatest player ever - there are always a few players who don't look as good after making the step up - but, in my opinion, he looks better than Barrett did at this level.</p>

<p>He looks to have a better passing game, better at hitting the ball up - goes hard into contact, tackles harder, and his goalkicking is (usually) better.</p> -

My point wasn't that Jordie is going to be better than Beauden, or that Beauden is a bad player. My point is that at this level, in my opinion, Jordie looks to be the better player.
