    Think there might be more to this than stuff is telling us.

    Will be looking out for a followup story.

    Comments are interesting, something about a Labour pledge not to take state housing away from people who no longer qualify also increasing number of landlords getting out of the game because of bad tenants and laws that don't help protect their asset. Anyone know if any of that is true?

    All true , Labours also said they will strengthen tenants rights and want to take away the ability to ring fence losses from rentals against the owners income .

    If you’re a feral with a horde of offspring you are going to be shit out of luck finding a rental .

    It's funny how they don't factor this into their decisions..it's almost as if they have no concept of economics and live in some utopian dreamworld...

    Or no business experience and or an antipathy towards business.

    For a start the pms background in the private sector is working one night a week at a fish and chip shop.

    @canefan Not sure how having sex when you don't feel like it is 'outstanding advice'. Women - and men - are allowed to be not in the mood, and sex as a chore is what kills it.

    @canefan Haha, welcome.

    Edited to add, I've seen the sex even when you don't want to marital advice in Christian advice blogs, and it pisses me off every time.

    @Mokey guess it depends on the context and mood of 'not feeling like it', sometimes it might be no matter what, you wont get in the mood, but sometimes not feeling like it could be due to factors unrelated, and then the initiation and distraction ends up changing the 'feeling' pretty quickly?

    Not sure I explained that well, I know what I mean 🙂

    It would be easier to simply outsource, somehow I don't think that would go down well.....

    I've heard this before from the previous generation. Having been on both sides of 'not in the mood' in long term relationships and how destructive it can be I think it is advice actually worth taking seriously. As I think TR was trying to explain often just getting started is enough to change the 'not in the mood' dynamic. Doesn't have to be a full-on session or anything but surely most of the time you can take a little bit of time to help your partner 'scratch an itch' even if you're not up for the reciprocity. Obviously if your partner is a fluffybunny it can be taken too far but if you're in a healthy relationship why the hell not?

    edit - I mean 'fluffybunny' as in the pejorative not literally 🤣
