I really can’t see a bolter that people are not considering.
But if I had to pick someone totally out of the blue that hasn’t ever had a mention I’d throw Chay Fihaki out there.

@Darren Chay was in England playing for the Baabaa's at the weekend so I reckon that's a pretty good indicator that he's not in the team.

The more I think about it, the more I think there might be a surprise at halfback - i.e. someone who isn't Ratima, Christie or Perenara.

I was told there were 4 Highlanders that were at the camp in Tauranga. I didn’t get names. Obviously not expecting 4 to be selected(most likely only 1 in EDG), but with the Blues Chiefs final they had the chance to get some other players in there for a look. A lot of players there were more of an AB XV chance.

I heard there were two at the camp which took place in Wellington...

I mean, he might be. But that's public knowledge. It was also public knowledge that Cane wasn't going to be considered for July so Devlin has worse than public knowledge in that instance.
