Feek will have some work to do this week with the scrum.

A pity they didn't score on the last play.

Japan's scrum looked good against the English. Not surprised it's competitive against the MAB.

The Japanese front row are all short, and looked to be getting under the taller Māori props.

@nostrildamus He'll get more of a run for the Blues next year should he stay healthy.

BTW, Nik McCurran (no.23) is the brother of Waikato loose forward Patrick. He used to be a halfback.

@Stag They were on different Sky channels.

For the June 29 match there will be te reo Māori commentary on Whakaata Māori, Māori+ and Sky Sport 2, and English commentary on Sky Sport 1. For the July 6 match there will be te reo Māori commentary on Whakaata Māori, Māori+ and Sky Sport 3 and English commentary on Sky Sport 2. Sky Open will have free-to-air delayed coverage of both matches.

The English commentators were TJ and Bryn Hall.

Weird thread. Mainly positivity about Japan and they got dicked 36-10!

Maori simply had much better ball skills
