    @BerniesCorner

Main thing for Proctor is to sure up his defence.

Another try like Frances first score last week would not be a good look

    Are you shore?

I played centre and wing in my younger days obviously at lower levels.

But I used to think the most demoralising thing to happen to you in those positions is being beaten on the outside.

Attissogbe at 20 looks like he's going to be a special player so maybe forgivable however you'd have to say that Rieko probably makes that tackle.

There may have been a couple of times where Rieko got beaten in the last five years but I seem to remember him recovering and catching them in the end.

I’d need to watch it again, only watched it the once, but he also seemed to be moving up from the inside almost inviting a guy with pace to go on his outside

Squidge identified a second French attack pairing. The first pair runs a hard straight line. That focusses attention of defending centres. When they look up the second attack pair has drifted 3 metres.

    Clever from French.

We could be without Sititi, Scott Barrett, Clarke and Williams for the test against SA at Eden Park. Fuck.

It might be the perfect occasion to unleash Riley Higgins on the international stage.

Yes because we need another midfielder in the squad

Far out this kid gets better the more we don’t get to see him play

Hey that is trademark Blackadder and Ennor material..

Higgins isn’t half the player Ennor is. At least Ennor has a hard shoulder.

@Frank I'm so sorry. It's the absolutely perfect weather for a fishing trip where I am and I couldn't help myself.

Things i want to see tonight:
Defence that actually stops attacking teams cold, and forces them to give us the ball.
Some sort of heat on their ruck ball.
Patience when we have the ascendency! Maybe take a phase here or there to settle and go again!

I know we won't kick well so I'll keep it realistic

@mariner4life and that's the saddest thing, a half decent kicking game would make a huge difference to our game

Good exits and accurate/smart (one or the other, I'm not greedy) tactical kicking...we can only dream

    This fucking timezone sucks.
I go out for evening beers, coz it's Friday and sunny and shit, and on my way home, drop in at my fourth brewery, coz they do happy hour from 9-10pm. While there, I realise there's a fucking Fiji-Scotland game on, so watch that on the old phone, innit?
Start thinking... holy fuck, don't tell me me old mates the ABs are playing tonight? To be sure mate, yes they fucking are. ( I think? ) But do I leave early to go home and re-coup? Like fuck I do - I take full advantage of happy-hour and being a local being allowed to order high-ABV beers after every other fluffybunny has been told to fuck-off.
Now... I have to stay awake for another couple of hours to watch me lads fuck over les lavettes.
And yes - I should have learned this lesson last week, when exactly the same thing happened. But that was, like, 5 days ago or some shit. I don't know - fucking timezones.

Oh - and doing my superstitious thing - got home, put on a NZ t-shirt, NZ trou, NZ slippers, but... only NZ-made booze in the house is wine. Not sure that's going to end well.

So let me get this straight: you, Kruse, are complaining because you have time to drink and you have quality alcohol (read: NZ wine) at home?
America really does have first world problems.

I hear you bro. For the 2nd week in a row, I’m having to watch the game from a ferry taking me to a new Greek island. This time, to add to the difficulty, I’ve had to download a VPN because Stan is onto my shenanigans
