Also a sub plot that no one’s brought up, Tim Donnelly has done a seriosuly good job with those Wallabies forwards. Another coach lost overseas
Donnelly’s body of work in NZ wasn’t exactly screaming out international coach.

To be fair, based on what we've seen so far, a great body of work in NZ doesn't scream out international coach either...

Roigard has the true all black mentality and self belief that’s been missing. So fucking refreshing.
Leroy Carter too, actually sitting sualii and ikitau down, which should be proctors job.I saw on another platform someone suggesting that Love had given Hansen some honest feedback around game plan and they’ve had a falling out. Similarly, there’s a crusaders vs the rest divide within camp with only a handful of players attending Cody Taylor’s 100th test drinks. All hearsay but sounds kinda believable

Recently read Whitelock & Foster's books.. A lot of the rumours and "sauce" around the AB's during their time were clearly absolute bollocks.
There's discussion & disagreements going on all the time but that just par for the course - and generally pretty healthy to get out in the open.

Compare to Read and McCaw.
Is that really fair?
What 7 and 8 ever compares to Read and McCaw?

Effort wise it is yes.
Savea is jogging around looking for a "me" moment.
Even in his turnover today, he jumps up and struts off in a performative fashion.
the "I wont even dignify this turnover with a high five, non celebration celebration"

We are a dreadful Rugby team.
Razor has to go.
It was a sad vista to see him walk off, but you'd have to think/hope that was Beauden Barretts last game in black.

I suspect he now stays until the RWC.
But we need a bit of a clear out of the assistants and to get coaches with more international experience.

2+ defeats incoming on EOYT.

@Darth-Sader It was an error to appoint an All Blacks Head Coach without significant international coaching experience. Future All Blacks Test coaches must have coached at Test level before being considered for the big job.
I think the best answer given where we are now is to keep Robertson, but to have a clear out the assistants as soon as possible apart from Jason Ryan and to search the globe for the best coaches who are willing to work with this All Blacks team for the money NZR have available. These coaches aren't good enough.
@sparky with this coaching setup wc 2027 semi final will be a bridge too far.

Great comeback by the Wallabies.
A huge opportunity for them to break the "Eden Park curse"
Especially if the All Blacks have another melting down in the last twenty minutes.

@booboo A match that was 20-17 at half time (which was still the scoreline when I wrote that) and Australia had scored the last two tries

Not the question I asked.

Il Douche totally changed his ruck interpretations
Like what you did there

Past horizontal. No penalty. Ok Marius
Law clarification please.
Thought it was ok if tacklers brought him back horizontal.
Thanks in anticipation.
-
Who is the Stan commentator saying "past horizontal is automatic penalty"? Ignorant fluffybunny might want to read law 9.18

Ah thanks. #booboo
I heard that at the time and thought it was wrong. Hence the query. Will wind up the locals' sense of injustice though

Remember that cute tap penalty when we could've taken three..?

Huge opportunity here for the Aussies to get a win at Eden Park.
Blown

Just put it down you dickhead
This guy is correct.

how to win the game and yet not change the mind of your fans.
You can’t say we’ve really got on top of any of the three RC teams. SA was a real reality dose, and tonight feels a bit lucky too. Not great.
Razors wins are all by a fag papers width.
We have been blessed to have won some of these games.

Yeah. Those wins don't count

Could have been very different if the Aussies didn't take so long to get into the game in the first half. They're a big chance next week.

For me Holland has to start, yes, he needs to work on defence and few other areas but his lineout work is the best in the team. Set piece is everything these days and having a very reliable jumper is key and Holland gives the team that. Good coaches should be able to help him round out his game.
