On the whole I don't mind, except where's Clarke? (Don't really mine Leicester but like Clarke a lot.)

Other than that there's not too much controversial.

    Clarke is potentially injured-ankle.

Analysis: All Blacks have found a keeper in Carter

Outstanding in his first two Tests, Leroy Carter appears to have the ability and mindset to be a long-term wing option, writes Patrick McKendry.

Had to ask if I was having my leg pulled… hope I’m not so apologies in advance if it isn’t correct. Usual contact so have no reason to believe it isn’t correct. Maybe I’m just a little surprised due to a certain name on the wing(which should bring some interesting opinions).

I can't find an official confirmation, but it would seem he has failed to recover from reinjuring his ankle

Definitely interesting. Don’t think many would have picked that backline to start the year.

Do you agree with Proctor being dropped?

He hasn't grabbed his opportunity by the scruff of the neck, regardless of how bad the backline has been in general. It's not the end for him yet, but I think a change was reasonable

Tupaea at 13 is a big call, it gives me the heebies when he is there at the Chiefs as he looks lost.

However, Proctor hasn't exactly been setting the world on fire and if they can get Tupaea bedded in at 13, he becomes a very useful squaddie.

Interesting to see how he gets on positionally but one thing I like about himself and Leicester, regardless of the number on their backs, is they rarely go backwards with ball in hand.

Roigard, Leroy,DMAC and Jordan bring the scalpel.

Jordie, Quinn and Leicester bring the hammer.

Everyone from 9-15 in that lineup is a threat in one form or another.

Reece, Christie,Proctor, Rieko, ALB and Beaudy were neither hammer nor scalpel.

Yeah, I think about a month ago I suggested that Quinn at 13 was worth a try, but that we should be ready for some very average reads as he isn't a natural 13.

He already has a tendency to miss a lot of tackles, and I would expect that won't change at 13.

I think he does have some speed to cover the outside break, so it will be interesting to see how they try to manipulate him and get him on the outside shoulder as that is usually his weakness.

This week with Clarke out, I'd expect a lot more air attack from the Aussies. Last week Jordie went well covering there, I'll be interested to see what Schmidt has dreamed up to exploit the way they were using him on the wing in that situation.

It's interesting that you mentioned Reece, as Carter looks like a fast, explosive Reece to me. I don't mean that in a bad way.

Wouldn't be surprised if that backline gets sliced up by the Wallabies. Wasn’t Tupaea at 13 in that last quarter against SA?

Lets see how it plays out in reality.

There could be a fair bit of positional interchange depending on the game state.

    No, Proctor was.

QT was at 2nd 5 and Jordie moved to fullback shifting Jordan to the wing with Clarke off.

Overall both the Wallabies and ABs didn’t kick much in that last game. Both teams clearly wanted to play with the ball more. The Wallabies only kicked the ball 13 times and I can’t see them suddenly wanting to kick more, unless the weather turns wet.

Are you speaking about the same game? Clarke didn't play.
