Right Paul Carozza. After a couple of weeks of media frenzy he met Carozza and famously remarked on his messed nose, "It doesn't look that bad."
I've always liked the Meads definitions:
Hard Man: Someone who warns you before punching you in the face Thug: Someone who kicks you or punches you in the back of the head.
Not AB's, but back in the day this was very much a part of the game in SA.
