Congratulations to Beauden Barrett who becomes the most capped back of all time this Saturday on 142 caps.

Only fatties ahead of him now on the ledger.

Level with Sergio Parisse on 142.

Richie McCaw 148, James Slipper 150, Sam Whitelock 153, Alun Wyn Jones 158.

With this coaching ticket in charge and taking cognisance of next years insane calendar he could become the most capped player of all time.

I can see the headline now during the 2029 Rugby Championship

Beauden Barrett lines up for his 200th test match

He is an awful interviewee, and as for the players, completely devoid of any character. Robots.

It's been drilled out of them.

      he looks petrified

Rassie is dancing all over us at the selction table and in the media.

He had a bloke banned for pulling the bollocks off another fella and he tweets "we have to beat them on the field and in the board room". Thats a leader.

We have Scott Hansen saying "we want the TMO to have a cup of tea this week".

For want of a better expression in the culture war world we now occupy, we dont half act like a bunch of cucks.

Bang of beta energy off us. From the top down.

I miss the days when players were allowed to have personalities,

Although it’s league , imagine how this would go down now

Perfectly fine, it's not the public who have an issue, it's NZR.

Never been the same after losing his pace and taking too many hits. Loved him back in the day, but he's a liability now

I don't know how anyone could watch the last 12 months of rugby, and decide not to pick Pledger for even the ABXV, while BB starts every test.
We are so fucking conservative, we are killing ourselves.

People I’m speaking to in Christchurch are even starting to call Razor conservative and boring while not exactly looking promising… that says a lot.

This tour is a lot bigger than just winning these games, this is about playing positive rugby and looking comfortable doing it. There are signs every now and then but it is just so inconsistent. Very un all black like if you will.

I’d like to see them be bold. Start that young guy. Take that risk. Now is the time. If we start taking risks and making bold calls in 2027 then it’s already too late.

I hope we take that leap forward and turn a corner. If we don’t then the heat will really be on this coaching group.

Come on the boys. Up the ABs!

I reckon if he wins all 4 it's huge, doesn't matter how we play. Which is a sad state of affairs for the ABs to be in.

I remember the days of wondering if we might lose one in a surprise result, rather than the opposite.

Whoever is persisting with picking over the hill guys like BB, whether it's Razor or someone higher up forcing his hand, they need to be binned. They are damaging our legacy

it would be huge and I hope we win, but what is more likely win four based on how we have been playing? (not capability) or losing at least two?

That's kinda the point. Going off the past two years, it's highly unlikely - ergo, huge. Sad times.

I wouldn't mind a loss if we were progressing with new players or game-plan. But we're not, so yeah, you're right.

                          Nowadays I wonder/worry about 30pt losses.

@Victor-Meldrew oh come on, clearly there's progress when you compare to the same fixture last year. Looks like half the team have been moved on or promoted from the bench!

Personally, I think the problem is lack of Test rugby experience...

To be fair, your personal lack of test rugby experience probably isn't having much influence on the 2025 ABs. Sorry bud.

I don't know how anyone could watch the last 12 months of rugby, and decide not to pick Pledger for even the ABXV, while BB starts every test.
We are so fucking conservative, we are killing ourselves.

Arsenal had a 15 year old lining up for them during the week.

                                      Max Dowman. He is incredible.

If you are good enough you are old enough.

Anna Paquin was 11 when she won an academy award. If you're good enough, you're old enough.
