Surprised Christie has made himself available as I thought he would try to make Scots WC squad as he would be qualified by then.
Better shot there than AB 's WC27

@African-Monkey True Parker does not have elite power of the big HWs but he does have faster hands and can land combos alot of those bigger punchers cannot. He is now stronger and fitter than ever before and can adapt on the run much better than the likes of DD.
Does this mean I think JP v Usyk is 50/50 hell no but of the current HWs I see JP and Kabayel the ones who could ask questions of Usyk.
Dubois may have a punchers chance but thats it - and his best chance is to aim for his meat and vege again.
Usyk schools him more comprehensibly this time. -
Yes Parker has a low % chance of beating Usyk but I feel he has a better chance than DD.
The best chance of Usyk losing if he takes his eye off the ball ala Lennoxs 2 loses but Usyk doesn't seem wired that way -
I think DD is not going to go all out from the bell, he will be gagey thinking he will set Usyk up for a killer body shot that him and his team have convinced themselves they should have won from by KO in the last fight. It has some merit in that tagging Usyk clean to the head is way too taxing.
Uysk will then bank those early rounds and DD will become desperate and frustrated and the tank will run dry...=Uysk stoppage .
Parker has a better chance v Usyk than Dubois does but its still low %
If DD does connect and win I'm sure Usyk has a rematch clause so JP forced to wait another 6-9mths which is no good for him.. best case is whoever wins WBO strips them -
Dubois has a hail mary chance only, if he doesn't land a KO punch Uysk schools him again and gets DD to take a knee as he will think he is surrounded .

Sotutu looks disinterested

@reprobate
Yeah I have Roigard and Ratima 1 & 2 a horses for courses type selection for them.
Fakatava though is probably who I would want coming off the bench for impact.
So they are my top 3 atm
Holtham bubbling under just needs more time to learn his trade no need to rush him.
Under that we are well served for back ups: Christie, Preston and Hastie looking good so I don't see 9 as the weakness I thought it would be after Smith departed. -
Gallen boxes like a prop... matches forward has ok punch but massive engine and continuous pressure which to part time boxes or anyone without footwork or a punch to keep him off is a nightmare. A short stocky Joe Joyce.
Huni is a top 15HW (ranked higher by WBO but really has done enough yet) and toyed with him.
SBW can box and move but was KO'd by old slow Hunt (slow but ridiculous heavy hands) .
I can see why SBW wants 2 min rounds to limit fatigue as Gallen engine would drown him but I still lean to Gallen as he will bite down and apply too much pressure for SBW.
SBW can box but his chin is sus and how he reacts to being hit lacks instincts of a fighter.
Gallen victory by anyway possible because thats him -
Huni has very good offence skills.. excellent combos and body work - similar to Kabayel
The big question with Huni is defense and punch resistance...he doesn't just get hurt he gets scrambled and has yet to step up to elite level- which really makes a mockery of his WBO ranking unrealistically high. Hunis team need to match him intelligently so he can make a title challenge happen before that chin is exposed -
Yip Usyk is a generational great and only likely to lose if he carries on too long past his prime..
The winnable title fight for Parker is DD....but DD not keen -
Yes but its Boxing so until fight signed nothing is certain
If the big $ is still with a rematch of Uysk v DD then that will happen fair or not
Joe may be offered step aside money and a promise of the winner -
Moses doesn't yet deserve a title shot yet...he beat Dempsey McKean - plenty fighters ahead him in the queue
There is talk of Moses v Huni which would be fun fight- Huni has skills but not a great chin 50/50 fight -
Its a negotiation tactic so he gets to fight who he wants for the $$ he wants..
And who may likely not be AJ .
AJ will move on and fight someone else... then Fury comes out of retirement...
I think he beats AJ right now ...but a loss to AJ crushes his legacy -
@MN5 Wilder was gun-shy damaged goods
Zhang at 40 is probably in his prime though as he wasn't a pro in his 20's.
Only the patient and highly cardio trained HWs beat Zhang atm- so JP and Uysk top that list and poss Kabayel which we will find out. Dubois likely sparked by ZZ, Bakole would be fun but still favour ZZ.
Anyone who wants to stand and trade with ZZ is looking at an early night. -
Awesome news

@nostrildamus
think out with injury but yeah looks strong all round player -
This display looked completely rudderless and it comes from the top down more than individual player performance...

@Billy-Tell Yip and once Ireland lost Furlong pre match their frontrow stocks drop hugely in class
-
@cgrant He had to contend with some messy shite some caused by Ireland some our own doing.
He did well - the ref got his stamp on that and Roigard came on
Ratima made a few errors but by and large played the hand he was dealt as best he could -
Yes Gotham would be ideal as a pace changer impact player
