@canefan Decent haggis is bloody nice.

Rather have that than some of the American fast food style shit detailed.

Don't get me wrong, I'd definitely have a good crack. It's basically sausage right? Haggis, mashed potato and mashed turnips sounds authentic, if a little dull

Pretty sure it's exactly the same as what he served in 2023, with one exception - the addition of ravioli, which is what he was cooking when he hurt his hand earlier in the year. Bit of an in joke, I think.

I ate at St John in London years ago, ordered faggots and peas which was delicious (offal meatballs wrapped in caull fat)

        https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8008/7484110684_542e357d47_b.jpg

It didn't have a lot of crazy spice, but was well seasoned, and panfried with a nice sauce. So in haggis all of the ingredients are there for a tasty dish. I am not sure how they season it, but the boiling probably doesn't make for a particularly pleasing mouth feel

No Tiger & no Vijay Singh this year, both have injuries.

Going to back a new winner this year.

              Either Schauffele or Aberg.

My prediction is that Rory McIlroy will finally get to have that Green Jacket around his shoulders.

@JK I'd like Rory to win too, but reckon it'll be someone known, but less talked about (Fleetwood, Min Woo Lee, Morikawa type)

As always, I'd love for Adam Scott to win, but think his time has passed.

given his form, you kinda have to think, if not this year, then probably never

The problem with Rory in recent years is that the higher the expectation, the more chance that he will shoot 79 in the first round.

@KiwiPie I think the whole LIV/PGA thing has been a millstone around his neck, and with that less of a thing, hopefully it means he has been able to focus more on playing golf than the peripheral shit.

Speaking of the LIV crew, Bryson and Brooks in with a shout I reckon.

Joaquin Niemann of Chile and Aaron Rai of England are the early leaders on 3 Under.

Strong start by Scheffler. Scottie laying down a marker for the rest of the pack.

Some pretty good scoring so far. Rose leading at -6 thru 12.

At the other end of the field, poor Nick Dunlap (2024 rookie of the year), has s shot a 90!
