With the talk about the midfield, thought an interesting combo to finish a game could be QT and Jim.
Which would mean one of them starts.
Which may not be out of the question given some of the noise.
I don't like it at all - I think we'd be silly to not have a real 13 out there, when we have two excellent options and the capability to select accordingly.
I like that with versatility we could either have a backline of pretty much all fullbacks or a backline of near on all midfield.
DMac, Love, Tupaea, Jordie, Jordan, BB would really put the shits up a few of us.
BB, Ioane, Tupaea, Proctor, Jim, Jordie even more fun.

Rieko in the 23 jersey is something that I was hoping they would try last year - we got nothing out of that 23 jersey last year between ALB and Havili.

He'd have a hell of a lot more impact than either of them. Imagine him running hard against tiring backs who have played the whole game because all of the bench spots are taken by forwards

Doubt he's lost much pace at all. I'd say he's still top 3 for pace in the squad.
The team that was selected for most of the games last year I believe was Razors preferred combo. He had many opportunities to select both ALB and Proctor more last year and he didn't.
Proctor didn't even feature in the match day 23 in Europe. ALB is coming back from injury. Every other midfielder is primarily a 12.
So I think Rieko is still in pole position to play most of the season at 13.

I agree, but think Proctor will get significant time at 13 and start a few of the lesser games - and will give Reiko some time on the wing
I don't think Robertson can afford to be as ultra-conservative as he was last year.

They did try it. ALB started in that first Pumas test last year with Rieko on the bench.

Yes fair. From memory ALB had a shocker that night. I guess I was thinking more Proctor 13.
