Fuck still kicking away the ball BB kills our attack every time.

It’s the game plan. Blame the coach

What poor kicking that’s on BB he’s kicking the horrible kicks.

Yeah, but unless something's changed, it's down to the coach to pick & train the right players to execute the game plan.

Yes it is. It's easy to blame Barrett, but it's all part of the gameplan, turn the French forwards around and get them working to get back onside, and then open them up which creates holes should we look to run once the French forwards get tired.

And it's working well. Lots of negativity about the kicking but a lot of it has been bang on into the corners.

Yep, and for me, as long as it finds grass, then it's what the coaches want. Basically keep the ball in play and don't allow the French to stop and walk from line out to line out.

It’s his execution that baffles as well as the ill timed ones.

By and large I don’t mind most of his kick decisions but he needs to find ground or space a bit more.

But there are ones where we are lined up out on the openside with numbers and moving forward that I think he puts the blinkers on and just kicks.

His execution is largely poor, and that's all on him.

It's also down to team selection and coaching. His execution has been poor Test after Test.

No argument there it still doesn’t make BB a better player now At his age I think it’s ingrained in him.

    Proctor is so lost!

Maybe if our 10 was more decisive and actually fucking ran the ball or passed it instead of aimlessly kicking it away. You know, that might help the rest of the backline aye.

TBF it doesn't matter who his coach is, BB kicks a fucking lot, with very mixed results.

But so many tells me he's the controller we need

I've always thought BB would be better if there was no coach involved. He always plays his best when grinning and playing like he's in the back field with his brothers just pulling trick kicks out of his ass.
Just let him loose, and say "play rugby".
Perhaps not a viable strategy at his current age, and at this level, but... 🤷

Yeah totally what's needed in a team sport.

I'm liking the way we're now able to decent forward pack on the field despite injuries to key positions and blood new players at the same time. Jason Ryan doing an excellent job

Interesting to see - I love my dodgy feeds of these games - you get to see the half-time coverage of the field... the AB replacements "training" on the field - and I assume it was D-Mac - practicing kicks to the oppo-22 corner over and over again. With somebody there returning it each time.

@Canerbry Not at this level - as I say - but I'm just saying... he's always seemed like an instinct-player.
ie: read/comprehend the statement "Perhaps not a viable strategy at his current age, and at this level, but... 🤷"
