    Jordie was bloody good again, making great yards on his carries

    Reckon it's worth keeping him at 12?

    Lol would be crazy to move him.

    The thought of injuries striking and a loose trio of Savea, Lio Willie and Kirifi on the field at the same time is too ridiculous for words. We know what Ardie brings but the other two will just get rag dolled by bigger teams. They honestly looked like halfbacks out there. Savea is still such an X factor player though. The run to set up Vaai was amazing to see.

    CLW is 2cm shorter than So’oialo and the same weight. Perhaps he should grow some dreds and wear shoulder pads in the off test match, might make him seem bigger.

    This French side have big bodies. Their forwards are some of the biggest going around in world rugby. From my viewing, CLW had no problem dealing with bigger bodies on both sides of the ball. Was never driven back, stopped ball carriers in their track.

    And I see a lot of Rodders in CLW. Grunt work to allow the other two loosies to play their roles - much like Rodders did for McCaw and Collins.

    Overall though, I like that they have so far stuck to their plan when injuries have occurred in the lead up to both tests. Opted for the next cab than shuffle others that could play in that position.

    If Luke is fit they will likely give him a run at 8, and I don’t think we will see much difference - both similar type of player.

    He got driven backwards pretty early on or did I imagine that ?

    @ACT-Crusader

    CLWs listed height and weight are optimistic at best.

    Any player selected for the All Blacks at home should be expected to do better than France B/C players.

    I can't say I noticed CLW yesterday - which to me is a good thing. Seems to just be getting it done and not doing anything wrong.

    He didn't play badly but he didn't set the world on fire either. Did a lot of patch up work. It's reasonable to expect some more dominant carries from an All Black 8 when the AB's tight five is dominating.

    Truth be told JB would probably do at least as well at 10 as Beauden and Mckenzie. With a bit of time in the saddle his kicking for field position could be a real weapon. Especially combined with a lineout including Holland, Tuipulotu/Darry, and Vaa'i.

    The Yellow Card for Beauden Barrett was the right call.

    Very few, if any, have mentioned our defence, so I assume people are happy with it? Me, I think it is still a weak point. When the French got into a position to score they either did or they came bloody close. It seemed inevitable that our line would be crossed. It reminded me of the Irish in NZ a few years ago.

    @Crazy-Horse It was better than last week, but still a key area of weakness.

    @sparky

    It looked like a clear forward pass or knock on from the French player?

    Doesn't the first error/infringement take priority except in foul play? After he loses control of the ball forward its advantage All Blacks.

    It was both the wrong call and the right call. Be thankful.

    @brodean WR have decided a deliberate knock on is foul play. We might not like it but that's the ruling.

    Second half they seemed to gain easy metres too many times.

    At least it is generally ruled consistently

    After years of kiwis criticising 10 man old school English rugby you want to emulate it?!
    I joke, it is good to able to execute it when required!

    Nb I just realised you left out a lock/captain there...

    Definitely a time and place for territory kicking, we don't utilise it much at all. And when we do it, we generally don't do it well
