He’ll be able to play for Scotland in a couple of years.
Where is @MN5? Not like him to not bring things like that to our attention.
He’s too Scottish for Scotland. They’ll have a good South African ready to play halfback instead of him.

I'm sure a fourth Tuipulotu will emerge from out of Melbourne.

For the 3rd halfback spot, I go for Kyle Preston.
Sounds like Parker will come in.
Bloody shame about Tangitau not been ready, so I'd call up Leroy Carter (or possibly have Carter as the 3rd halfback)Do we have any evidence to suggest Carter is any good at halfback? I have only seen him play wing at any decent level. I can't even recall a cameo at 9 at NPC let alone Super.

Leroy Bert Carter (born 24 February 1999) is a New Zealand professional rugby union player who plays as a half-back for National Provincial Championship club Bay of Plenty and the New Zealand national sevens team. -

Better halfback than wing, in my opinion.

Think it was 2023 he played a bit for BOP at halfback .

There were 33 squad members named for French.
The addition of Darry seems quite straightforward.
Which means another body required.
If Lakai added, will it be an addition, or to replace, say, Kirifi?
Might still be another required.
They could add Havili, increasing midfielders to 7!
Then add in injury cover, Narawa, Dyer, etc. -
@zedsdeadbaby
I remember him at Halfback off the bench for BoP when they smashed Manawatu in the Championship sem final at the Hangi Pit. If that wasn't his debut it would be one of his first few NPC games. That season was on the back of him being NZ U20 Halfback -

There's no need for Havili - they have enough fullbacks and 12s.
Are you sure ? He’s so experienced and he can cover 10 as well

Such a great leader. Look at his co captain exploits for AUNZ

Well I guess that settles it.
